Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, Enathur, Kanchipuram  (hereinafter referred to as SCSVMV University), is an institution running educational programs offering degrees at all levels, namely, integrated First Degree, Higher Degree and Ph.D., in its campus at Enathur, Kanchipuram.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (hereinafter referred to as BITS), is a Deemed University running educational programs both on – campus as well as off- campus offering degrees at levels, namely, integrated First Degree, Higher Degree and Ph.D., in its campuses at Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad in India and Dubai in United Arab Emirates.

SCSVMV University and BITS wish to develop an academic exchange and cooperation program in education and research. Both parties have agreed to the following:

        1.   The two institutions will foster:

a)      Student and faculty development.

b)      Joint research activities.

c)      Exchange of academic materials.

       2.   In order to carry out the above mentioned activities, a detailed plan may be agreed upon in consultation between the two  institutions.

       3. It is implicit that each and every activity undertaken under this agreement is approved by the appropriate officials at each  institution and must fall within each institution’s academic and fiscal constraints.

       4. The agreement shall be effective on and after the date of its signing and shall remain in force for the period of three years. It may  be renewed at the end of this period. In order to terminate it before the end of this period, a three months written notice must be  issued.

       5. The agreement may be modified at any time after due consultation between the two institutions.
