Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme

A legal awareness programme on 'Anti-Ragging Laws' on the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India was held on 13th October 2009 at Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Diamond Jubliee Hall, International Library. Tmt. A.Balkis, B.L., Chairman/Sub Judge, Taluk Legal Services Committee, Kancheepuram conducted the legal awareness session, which focussed on the menace of ragging and the punishments for ragging as laid down in the TamilNadu prohibition of Ragging Act 1997 and relevant Supreme Court's directives . II Year B.E. Students participated in the programme.
