Interaction and research consultancy with Professors from Kasetsart University and King Mongkut University, Thailand held on 10.12.2016
A meeting was arranged for interaction with the delegates from Kasetsart University, Thailand and King Mongkut’s University of Technology, Thailand who visited our University campus on 10.12.2016. Prof.Dr.K.Venkatramanan, Head of our department welcomed the delegates Prof. Dr. Sirikanjana Thongmee, Department of Physics, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand, Prof. Dr. Trinet Yingsamphancharoen, Department of Welding Engineering Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology, Bangsue, Bangkok, Thailand and Ms.Pimsiri Potpattanapol, Department of Physics, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand. After receiving the guests, the faculty members of our department were introduced followed by discussions. Discussions on combined research, joint publications and student exchange programmes were done by the faculty members. Around 20 students our University interacted with the delegates. The delegates encouraged the students to apply for higher studies at Thailand. Prof.Dr.G.Srinivasu, Registrar of our University honored the guests and interacted with them. He explained the various activities undertaken by the manuscripts section of our University and informed them thqatq qfew students from Thailand studied a course on Sanskrit and Computer Science at our University. The Chief Administrative Officer of our University Shri.G.Ramachandran interacted with the delegates and the programme finally concluded with a photo session.
