PROJECT 1: IMAGE PROCESSING PROJECT:

OBJECTIVE:

To be able to capture image of pen (360 degrees) and be able to analyse the wear & tear of the labels inscribed in the body of the pen.

CURRENT SITUATION:

A human resource is analysing with their naked eye the amount of wear & tear of labels in the pen after certain tests. This needs to be automated to improve the analysing accuracy as human analysis of wear & tear is relative.

SOLUTION:

To fix a camera that captures the image of the pen in different angles –> process & synthesize the image with a known image –> analyse the come up with the quantum of wear & tear
Need to have a MATLAB or LabVIEW or any other program that can do this image processing and do the analysis

PROJECT 2: ANDROID PROJECT:

OBJECTIVE:

Customize Android OS, that can be used for monitoring sensors.

SOLUTION:

Need to customize Android OS – remove call & sms functions, remove standard google apps – YouTube, Gmail, etc. Should be a customized OS – that must monitor and track readings from sensors.
