SECOND NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM - ELITE 2K16
ELITE 2k16 - the 2nd national level technical symposium was conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Applications on 13th October 2016. ELITE 2k16 commenced with the inaugural function at 10.00 am. Welcome address was delivered by Prof. Dr. S. Rajalakshmi, Director of SJCAC and Head of CSA Dept and also the convener of ELITE 2k16. The Presidential address for ELITE-2k16 was given by Dr. G. Srinivasu, our Honorable Registrar, SCSVMV University. The chief guest for the day was Industrial Expert Mr. Kumar Venkatesan, Associate General Manager, HCL Technologies Ltd., Chennai. A special souvenir brought out for the occasion with a compendium of technical articles was released by our Registrar. Vote of thanks was given by Coordinator of Elite 2k16, Ms. K. Mythili, Assistant Professor, CSA Dept. There were 4 technical (K-corner, paper presentation, poster presentation and software debugging) and 5 non-technical (quiz, ad zap, Painting, Short film, Mock Interview) events conducted on the day. Valedictory address was given by Prof. Dr. S. Balaji, Dean (Faculty of Science) and also prizes were distributed for winners and runners. Our Faculty members took charge as Event Organizers and student from Post graduate played a role as student coordinators and few students actively involved as volunteers to bring this function a grand success. Various committees were formed and actively involved. Students from PG and UG took role as office bearers and proved their sincerity with their dedicative efforts.
