Teachers Day Celebrations
Department of computer science and applications celebrated teachers day on 5th September 2012. September 5th 1962 is observed as it is the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, a prominent thinker, philosopher and an educator. Teacher's Day as a tribute to the valuable contribution made by teachers to the society by imparting knowledge, enlightening and shaping the career of students. For students, Teacher's Day is an occasion to pay reverence and gratitude to teachers for their selfless effort in shaping their career and enriching the education system in the process.
