The One day workshop on Cloud Computing inaugurated by Professor Dr.S.Rajalakshmi,Director Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Advanced Computing Centre – SCSVMV UNIVERSITY .
Around 80 Students from the various departments like CSE,ECE,IT ,MCA and BCA actively participated in the workshop.
The First session was handled by our Faculty Mr.S.Ramamoorthy, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE gave the Introduction about the Cloud Computing and discussed about the Cloud Data Center Infrastructure, Cloud types, services and Challenges.
The afternoon session was handled by Mr.J.S.Shyam Mohan and Ms.R.Poorvadevi,Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, The session covered the topics like Virtualization Concepts, Cloud Security and Business Continuity in Cloud computing.
The Final Session of the Workshop Concluded with Real time Demo on ,Amazon, Google app Engine and Salesforce Cloud Environment by Mr.S.Ramamoorthy.
