The Department of CSE conducted one day seminar on Tech Trends’15 For Teachers on 31-01-2015.
The seminar started with inauguration and welcome address given by Mr.R.Vasanth kumar Mehta, HOD-CSE followed by inaugural address delivered by Prof.Dr.S.Rajalakshmi, Director-Advanced Computing Center. A special talk about the seminar was given by Dr.G.Sriram, Dean(E&T).
Session-I focussed on E-learning Techniques in Teaching process taken by Dr.S.Santhi and about NVIDIA by Ms.D.Thamariselvi.
Session-II covered some important features of Cloud Computing and Big Data taken by Mr.S.Ramamoorthy and Ms.R.Poorvadevi followed by practical demos for AMS and Moodle portal was given by Mr.Balu and Mr.K.Vinoth. Around 20+ teachers from various schools in kanchipuram District attended the seminar.
The seminar was coordinated by J.S.ShyamMohan Asst Prof , Mr.M.Thirunavukkarasu Asst Prof, Mr.Paneerselvam, Mr.L.Ganesh, Mr.K.Rajesh and Mr.Kedarnath Lab Instructors .
