Ruby & Ruby on Rails Workshop
Department of Computer Science & Engineering in association with Computer Society of India Student Chapter - SCSVMV Volunteer Wing of final year students organised one day Workshop on Ruby & Ruby on Rails on 25:11:2014 at CSE Main Lab
The Program Started by Inauguration Function with our respected Dean Prof.Dr.G.Sriram, Prof Dr.S.Rajalakshmi, Director, SJCAC, Prof.R.Vasanth Kumar Mehta, Head of the Department, CSE and E.Padma, Coordinator of the workshop, Dept of CSE.
Session I (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM): P V P Suman Student of Final Year, started the session with the topics on Ruby On Rails – Installation and setup, Basic Ruby
Session II (11:15 AM - 1:30 PM): C R S Karthik and P V P Suman handled the session with topics Control Structures, Blocks, Iterations, Reflections, Modules, System Commands, CGI Dynamic Programming- Duck Typing, Dispatching, Scope reopening, Eval and break point debugger
Session III (2:00 PM - 4:50 PM): C R S Karthik continued the noon session with topics Introduction to Ruby on Rails, Model view Controller, Active Record Aggregations, Associations and Demo Application.
The session comes to an end with vote of thanks by the workshop Coordinator E.Padma, Assistant Professor, Dept of CSE.
