One day workshop on Software testing on 6^thmarch 2015

Department of CSE conducted one day workshop on Software Testing for the Students on 06-03-2015.The seminar started with Special address given by Dr.R.Vasanth Kumar Mehta, HOD-CSE .He pointed trivial Examples about need for Testing in the automated world. He concluded with the brief description about the importance of software testing and its Objectives.

Session-I focussed on introductory part of software testing with its model taken by Ms.R.Prema. Session-II covered various testing Levels and different types of testing taken by Ms.M.Gayathri .Session III focuses on the form in which software requirements and use cases are written followed by practical demo using Selenium Tool for carrying out automation testing.

*How to work with selenium IDE for testing web based Applications.

*How to work with selenium and its framework and how to write tests with the test classes provided and how to execute the tests.
