AAVISHKAR 2K15
The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering organized its 4th National Level Technical Symposium AAVISHKAR 2K15, Discover Engineer in U on 24th September 2015. This Symposium brings together all students of various streams of Engineering from various Colleges/ Institutes. The inaugural session was started with a prayer song and welcome address. Prof. V. Swaminathan, Head of the Department was the first speaker detailed about the various activities and achievements made by the department. Prof. Dr. G. Sriram, Dean (Engineering and Technology), appreciated the department effort for success and team work. He also encouraged the students for active participation in Technical Events.
This year over 100 people placed into the venue to hear excellent talk on “Process Control and Automation” by Mr. K. Ravichandran, Director, Venkat Automation, Chennai. The symposium was supported by Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. V. S. Vishnupotty and respectable Dean, Engineering and Technology, Prof. Dr. G. Sriram at the inaugural session.
As a part of AAVISHKAR 15, and to fulfill the dream of Ex-President,Late. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Plantation of Trees by Chief Guest, Vice Chancellor, other dignitaries was held at Electronics and Instrumentation Block, University Campus.
Prof. Dr. G. Srinivasu, presided over the valedictory function, by delivering his word of appreciation to the students and also the participants for their participation. He distributed prizes and certificates for the winners in various Technical (Paper Presentation) and Non-Technical events (ADZAP, U GOT A MINUTE TO WIN IT, PHOTOGRAPHY, SHORT FILM) of AAVISHKAR 15.
