INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS AND PATENTS CELL

The Cell for Intellectual Property Rights and Patents was established in Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Maha Vidyalaya in the Year 2017. The function of the Cell is to Create awareness and to offer assistance to the Academicians, Researchers, Entrepreneurs and Inventers in identifying and Protecting the Intellectual Property.

The Objectives of the Cell is:

To create awareness on Patent Drafting and Patent Filing Procedures.
To emphasise on converting the Project works/Research Works into Patents. To create awareness about protection of IP and prevention of IP theft. To formulate advice and implementing Policies.

The Activities forecasted by the Cell are,

Organising Periodical discussions on the Intellectual Property Rights.
Organising Awareness Programs in various topics in IPR and also to provide an exclusive Journal so as to pave way for further research in IP Law.
Organizing International/National Conferences, Seminars and Workshops on Intellectual Property Law in order to strengthen IP regime.
Organizing Orientation and Training programmes for potential faculty of teaching of Intellectual Property Laws.
Protection of information / invention are proposed to be provided through the Cell.
To Promote Technology transfer and Safety to the Innovation.
