NSS WING OF SCSVMV UNIVERSITY CELEBRATED “YOUTH INSPIRATION DAY” ON 15.10.2015
NSS wing of SCSVMV University celebrated “Youth Inspiration Day” to mark the birthday of former president, BharatRatna(Late)Dr. A.P.J. Abdulkalam on 15.10.2015 at the University Campus. The NSS Programme Officer Dr.K.Rajalakshmi delivered welcome address. The NSS Programme Coordinator Dr. M. Sundarrajan briefed about the importance of “Youth Inspiration Day” celebration to the young NSS volunteers.The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. V.S. Vishnu Potty delivered the presidential address and inaugurated the program. He delivered a motivational speech to the younger volunteers focusing on the former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdulkalam’s dream on developing India as a super power nation in all sectors.Prof. Dr. G. Srinivasu, the Registrar of the University motivated the students to become hard working in nature to reachtheir goals. The finance Officer Shri. JayaramanRavindran motivated the students to come up in their life through hard work with positive attitude. Prof. Dr. A. Jeyalakshmi, Dean, Faculty of Science, gave an inspirational speech to the students for setting their life in a more useful way to the society and the nation on their own self with self-confidence. Nearly 150 volunteers participated in the program. NSS Programme officer shri. B. Muthukumarandelivered vote of thanks. NSS Coordinator Dr. M. Sundarrajan, Programme Officers Mr. B. Muthukumaran, Mr. J.S. Shyam Mohan and Dr. K. Rajalakshmicarried out all the arrangements. Refreshments were given to all volunteers.
