Department of Physics organizes National Seminar on Recent Advances in Physics -2016 in collaboration with Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) held on 09.09.2016
A National Seminar on Recent Advances in Physics was organised by the Department of Physics, SCSVMV University in collaboration with Indian Association of Physics teachers (IAPT), Southern Chapter, on 9th September 2016. Prof. Dr. K.Venkatramanan, Convener and Head of Physics welcomed the gathering. Prof. A. Anandavadivel, Vice President of IAPT Southern Chapter explained the objectives of IAPT. Prof. Dr.G.Srinivasu, Registrar of the University presided over the function. Prof.Dr. S.Balaji, Dean of Science felicitated the gathering. Prof. Dr.S.NarayanaKalkura, Director, Crystal Growth centre, Anna University, Chennai, delivered a talk on Nano Biomaterials, Prof. Dr.S.Uthanna, Professor of Physics, Sri Venkateswara University delivered a talk on Recent Advances Solar Cells and Prof.C.V.Venkatakrishnan, (formerly with SIES College, Mumbai) Professor of Physics, SCSVMV University delivered a talk on futuristic nano materials. Dr.M.Sundarrajan, Organizing Secretary (NSRAP-2016) proposed vote of thanks. Around 200 students and research scholars participated and benefitted from the seminar. Certificates were issued to all participants.
