Parent Teacher meeting held on 23.11.2016

Parent-Teacher meeting was conducted on 23rd November 2016 by the department of Physics. Around 50 parents of UG and PG students attended the meeting. Individual interaction with faculty members was arranged subject wise for discussing academic and personal matters of their wards. Suggestions were exchanged for better improvement of students in academic and personal disciplines. A common meeting with faculties and parents was convened by Prof.C.V.Venkatakrishnan on behalf of the head of the department. Various courses and research facilities available at the department and achievements of the department were explored to the parents. The internal test marks and the general behaviour of the students were informed to the parents. All the parents expressed their satisfaction about their ward’s academic progress in the institution. Few parents insisted us to include yoga class as a regular subject in the course schedule and the same was accepted for consideration. Parents who could not attend the meeting were suggested to meet faculty members on any convenient day of with prior intimation. Snacks and refreshments were distributed to all the students and parents during the meeting. The parent teacher meeting got over by 3.00 pm.
