DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

INTRODUCTION

The Department of Electronics & communication Engineering was established in the year 1999 and the first batch of ECE graduates rolled out in 2003. Now, the department offers BE (ECE) Full time / Part time, ME (EST) Full time / Part time, Ph.D Full time / Part time. Right from its inception, the department has progressed with a vision centred on the empowerment of the students through academic and professional development and a strong commitment in developing competent career-oriented programs, enhancing the Library and laboratory facilities and providing excellent training to the students. The Electronics & Communication Engineering Department is a dynamic and vibrant department with about 14 highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members. There is 4 Associate Professors and 10 Assistant Professors with several years of teaching and industrial experience. There are 5 members of technical and 1 member of administrative staff to run the library, the laboratories and the department office.

To emerge as a centre of excellence in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering for producing talented engineers by imparting quality education, innovation, research and Indian values towards growth and development of the society.
