Brilliant Ideas of Students – BIOS’25

The 18th National Level Technical Symposium emerged as a grand celebration of innovation, intellect, and artistic expression, bringing together students from across the nation. The symposium was honored by the presence of Dr. Subramani Ramakrishnan, Vice President, UPS India Technology Center, Chennai, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event commenced with a warm Welcome Address by Dr. M. Senthil Kumaran, Head of the Department, CSE, followed by an insightful Inaugural Address by Prof. M. Rathinakumar, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The Presidential Address was delivered by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. G. Srinivasu, whose words set a visionary tone for the gathering. A heartfelt Felicitation Address by Prof. K. Venkatramanan, Dean, Faculty of Science & Education, added a touch of grace and encouragement, making the symposium a truly inspiring and memorable experience for all. The event featured a rich and diverse lineup of competitions. Technical events such as Paper Presentation, Tech Quiz, Hackathon, Coding Puzzles, and more sparked intellectual curiosity and problem-solving prowess. On the creative side, non-technical events like Drawing, Spot Photography, Memory Games, Treasure Hunt, and Movie Quiz infused the symposium with fun and imagination. The cultural segment was a feast for the senses, with captivating Dance and Singing Performances, Mime, Mimicry, and other artistic displays showcasing student talent. Adding to the vibrancy, the sports events brought out competitive spirit and teamwork through games like Cricket, Chess, Throwball, Badminton, and more.
