Established in 1999, our department stands as a beacon of engineering excellence, fostering a culture of continuous growth and discovery. With a distinguished PhD faculty, we have contributed significantly to the global research community, publishing over 1000 research papers in leading international journals and presenting more than 450 papers at international conferences. Our department is renowned for its specialization in three cutting-edge areas as honors degree Programme: 3D Printing, Robotics, Electric Vehicle, and offering Universal Human Values as minor degree Programme. We offer Doctoral programs in these fields, ensuring that our students are at the forefront of technological advancements. Accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade for five years (2023-2028), we provide a robust academic foundation and practical exposure. We offer a range of programs including B.E in Mechanical Engineering since 1999,M.E in Computer Integrated Manufacturing & Thermal Engineering since 2009, and M.E in Engineering Design since 2014. Our vision is to become a world-class, technology-oriented department, providing students with the opportunity to compete globally through competent faculty, updated curriculum, state-of-the-art facilities, and eco-friendly industrial exposure. We aim to empower our students technically, culturally, morally, and ethically.
Our mission is to nurture future ambassadors of Mechanical Engineering by exposing them to real-time engineering challenges and providing opportunities for research and development. We strive for excellence in all aspects of student life, encouraging participation in extracurricular activities. Our faculty members are actively involved in research, regularly publishing in international and national journals. We organize technical workshops and have state-of-the-art facilities for laboratories, a department library, and e-learning classrooms. Our centralized workshop supports various departments, and we arrange guest lectures and industrial visits to supplement the curriculum.
