SCSVMV had the honour of hosting Dr. Subramania Athiray Panchapakesan, Faculty, Department of Space Science, University of Alabama
in Huntsville (USA), on 30.12.2025 — a visit coordinated by the Department of Chemistry.
Dr. Athiray interacted with faculty and researchers from the Departments of Chemistry and Physics, discussing research possibilities spanning space science, materials chemistry, spectroscopy, and atmospheric studies. His encouraging insights opened avenues for future research collaborations and academic exchanges.
He also visited the ‘Saswathaiswaryam’ Palm Leaf Manuscript Section and appreciated the ongoing work, which aims to conserve and digitize invaluable knowledge from manuscripts.
