     Each Hostel in the Institute is self-contained with amenities such as a reading room, an indoor games room, a lounge and a dining hall with mess. A number of recreational, sports, literary and social activities take place in the hostel during the academic year.  Dhoby Facilities availbale in the campus. Students can relax in the evenings or on holidays or spend their leisure time in the common room which is equipped with T.V., newspapers in different languages and indoor games like chess, caroms, table tennis, etc. Gym is available as common facility for inmates of hostels. 

The hostel facilities are listed as,

A mess catering to a wide platter of North and South Indian menu, functions in the hostel premises. The students are provided with breakfast, lunch, evening refreshment & dinner. The hostel in-charges coordinate with the mess in-charges for smooth running of the mess.  Keeping the health of students in mind the preparation is being undertaken in a highly hygienic environment with experienced caterers. Based on the feedback of students, possible changes in the menu will be done. Review and inspection of the food quality is carried out at regular intervals.

The hostels are equipped with 24 hours electricity supply and the power room also has a built in generator with backup to assist during power shutdown.

24×7 water facility is available.  Care is taken to see that the water provided is free from germs and other dust particles. An RO and IR Treatment plant is set up inside the premises to see that the students get clean and hygiene drinking water at different temperatures.

For the benefit of saving students time, a laundry facility is available in the campus that helps in maintaining cleanliness and neatness of clothes.

The Greek proverb says “A sound mind is in a sound body”. Realizing the importance of a healthy body a Gym with Indoor Games facility is provided for improving the physical stamina of the students.

Students who are unwell are treated with utmost care in the sickroom with medical assistance. This helps students to recover quickly and attend their classes without any break.  24×7 Medical Services available.

Entertainment is one of the vital factors in today’s world of stress and tension. A television equipped with Dish connection is available in the premises to help students relax after their monotonous hours of study and to know about the happenings in the world.

A beautiful playground adorns the campus. Students can play Cricket, Volley Ball, Kabadi, Badminton, Basket Ball, Tennis and all indoor & outdoor games to showcase their talents and love for sports.

The General store stocks stationery, sanitary items and eatables.  It functions every day to help students fulfil their immediate requirements.

Courier and Parcel services are enabled in the hostels to help students send and receive couriers and parcels. This is being done with utmost caution after thorough checking of the contents by the staff and security concerned.

About Placement and Training Divison

Every student comes with an aspiration for a flying career. The training and placement division work to support the student’s aspirations with an aim to guide them to start building a career and not just an employment.

Career Planning is a complex process and when multiple opportunities are in front of the final year students, it’s become difficult for them to identify the best suited opportunity. The Training & Placement Division understand this and conducts various programmes and support services to meet the needs of students towards their professional development. The division works with the students and for the students in their career planning process.

The placement division acts as a bridge among the students, academic departments and industries. We start with conducting career guidance and counseling sessions with industry experts so that students could understand and define their career aspirations. This would help us to understand their career needs and to connect them for the required training & up-skilling sessions.

Today, there is no scarcity for knowledge-centers but choosing the right place to up-skill is the key to succeed and we ensure that we connects the students with best resource centers in the market. We train the students from their II year onwards with Soft Skill & English Communications in the 3rd and 4th semester respectively. In the III year, students are trained in Aptitude skills. These skill sets are compulsory for students who aspire to qualify for campus placements, competitive exams and much more. Our in-house faculty will handle these training programmes with diligent.

We connect the students with multiple resources for them to perceive, possess, prepare, practice, perform and prosper.

Many say knowledge is power, but it is equally true that applied knowledge is the real power. We encourage students to take up internships, industry certifications, to take-up career assessments, to participate in hackathons, tech. contests and other skill development activities. Students also have access to learn foreign languages as open electives. These add-ons would increase their knowledge and skill-set; which would fetch the best opportunities for them to start their career.
