The Department of Sanskrit & Indian Culture and the School of Education, SCSVMV, jointly organized a Utkal Divas on 01 April 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Library II Floor Auditorium. The event commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Dr.Debajyoti Jena, Head, Department of Sanskrit & Indian Culture, who set the tone for the proceedings. This was followed by the presidential address by Prof.G.Srinivasu, Vice-Chancellor, SCSVMV, who highlighted the significance of integrating cultural and academic pursuits for holistic student development. The programme featured vibrant cultural activities executed by the students, showcasing their creativity and reflecting the rich heritage of Indian traditions. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs.J.Jayapriya, Head, School of Education, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, students, and staff for their active participation and support.
