The School of Education, SCSVMV, organized a webinar on Your Road to Success is Becoming an Ideal Teacher on 29 May 2026 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. The program commenced with the welcome address delivered by Mrs.J.Jayapriya, Head, School of Education, SCSVMV who warmly greeted the participants and emphasized the importance of teacher education in shaping future generations. This was followed by the presidential address by Prof.K.Venkataramanan, Dean, Faculty of Education, SCSVMV who highlighted the role of teachers as nation-builders and encouraged educators to strive toward becoming role models. The session’s resource person, Dr.M.Neethi Perumal, Principal, Vivekananda Kendra College of Teacher Education, Arunachal Pradesh, delivered an insightful lecture on the qualities of an ideal teacher, challenges in modern classrooms, and strategies for professional growth. His talk inspired participants to adopt innovative practices and maintain a lifelong commitment to learning. The webinar concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr.T.Sundararasan, Assistant Professor, School of Education, who also coordinated the event. The session proved to be enriching, offering practical strategies for self-improvement and professional excellence, while encouraging active engagement and reflection among attendees.
