The School of Education, Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, celebrated International Women’s Day on 26th March 2026 at 12.30 PM in the Multi-purpose Hall. The event was graced by Dr.A.Mathini, Head, Department of English, SCSVMV, as the Chief Guest. The programme began with a welcome address by Mrs.J.Jayapriya, Head, School of Education, who set the tone for the celebration. In her inspiring speech, Dr.A.Mathini emphasized women’s empowerment, education, and leadership, urging students to uphold equality and respect. The celebration featured lively competitions such as debate, mehandi, face painting, musical chair, and situation bowl, showcasing creativity and enthusiasm. Winners were honoured with certificates and appreciation. The program was hosted by Mr.V.Sundarresh, I B.Ed Student, ensuring smooth coordination. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms.G.Haripriya, II B.Ed Student.
