The competition
This competition requires each participant to perform a total of 5 asanas. Of these, 3 must be selected from a pre-defined “Common Chart Asana” list specific to their age category, and 2 asanas will be of their own choice. For participants above 50 years of age, all 5 asanas can be of their own choice.

Recognition and Awards:
We believe in celebrating every participant’s effort and dedication.
- All participants will receive a participation certificate and a medal.
- The first 3 positions in each category will be honored with trophies.
- There will be 14 First Prizes, 14 Second Prizes, and 14 Third Prizes awarded across the competition.
- An additional 28 medals will be awarded for 4th and 5th prizes.
- Each group will see 5 prizes awarded for boys and 5 prizes for girls, totaling 21 cups for boys and 21 cups for girls.
- Extra prizes may be given for participants achieving the same score.
- A special “Champion of Champions” title will be awarded separately for both boys and girls.
Age Categories:
To ensure fair competition and appropriate challenges, participants will be grouped into the following age categories:
- Below 6 Years
- 7 to 9 Years
- 10 to 12 Years
- 13 to 15 Years
- 16 to 25 Years
- Above 25 Years
Note: Specific asanas recommended for each age category’s “Common Chart Asanas” will be provided in detail.
General Instructions for Participants:
- Each asana should be held for a maximum of 10 seconds.
- All postures must be performed as per BKS Iyengar (Light on Yoga) plate reference.
- Entry fees, once paid, are non-refundable.
- The judges’ decision will be final.
- The competition will be overseen by a dedicated team of 9 officials, with 3 officials assigned to each stage. A clear scoreboard will display real-time scores, and official score sheets will be used for accurate recording. Officials will also be provided with snacks and juice.
